We are seeking a Business Operations Specialist to join our Enterprise Systems team! This position will assist in the continual management and optimization of the company’s processes and data to inform actionable insights.
What you will be doing:
- Collaborate with customer facing teams to ensure the relationship between what is sold (contract subscriptions) and what is implemented (product instances) is accurately represented in source of truth systems
- Meet with departmental business leaders to gather data to inform operational business process improvements
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of existing contract, subscription and product instance data and related processes
- Implement and iterate on success and quality assurance criteria to reference when measuring completeness of goals and ongoing accuracy of data
- Manage ongoing and sustainable operational processes that identify key responsibilities across departments and the specific procedures to be followed by each individual with ownership
- Monitor day-to-day operations, report on performance, and recommend actionable improvements when necessary
- Identify and resolve operational issues and risk, optimize workflows and processes
- Document and enable on process changes as they evolve
- Bring enthusiasm and knowledge for data and data-related technologies to assist in providing cutting-edge analytical solutions to the business
- Help implement and define data “best practices” across the organization
What you will need to know/have:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in business operations, data operations or similar
- Experience interacting across sales, customer experience, business analytics, technology teams and operations
- Experience developing ongoing business processes to solve for complex, cross-functional challenges
- Experience gathering requirements for, designing and implementing data projects
- Experience making well-informed decisions in complex scenarios
- Experience working, creating reports, and monitoring dashboards within a CRM system (Salesforce, etc.)
- Working knowledge and understanding of the business including finance, sales and renewals
- Working knowledge of data science concepts including statistics, data mining, and predictive analytics is preferred
- Self-starter mindset that thrives on problem solving in collaborative environments
