About This Role
As part of Intersect’s Land Legal team, you’ll provide essential real estate legal support for renewable energy and data center development projects across Texas, Oklahoma, California, and beyond. Joining this team means shaping the legal frameworks that enable a sustainable future while building your career in a fast-moving, supportive environment.

Draft and Negotiate Agreements
• Review, draft, and oversee outside counsel on real estate agreements—including options, ground leases, purchase and sale agreements, easements, and financing documents
• Partner with internal teams to ensure agreements align with project goals and requirements
Enable Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Provide real estate legal support for project design, permitting, interconnection, and offtake opportunities
• Work closely with Land Acquisition, Development, Finance, and Construction to solve problems and unlock project progress
Grow Legal Expertise
• Take initiative on assigned matters while learning from senior attorneys
• Contribute to the broader Land Legal team with flexibility, curiosity, and a solutions-oriented mindset
What You’ll Bring
• J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice in Texas or California
• At least 2 years of experience as a real estate attorney in a law firm or in-house setting
• Familiarity with real estate agreements common in renewable energy and data center development
• Strong ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment
• Comfort working independently as well as collaboratively with senior attorneys and cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Ability to work during all Pacific Coast working hours
