About This Position
The Manager, Project Finance will be a key team member of the broader Capital Markets Team responsible for managing structured finance transactions and complex strategic analyses as well as mentoring junior project finance and capital markets professionals. This role requires a willingness and ability to manage multiple large, complex transactions and/or analyses simultaneously, while also assisting with internal committee communications, board of director approvals, and competing strategic initiatives. The Manager will work closely with lenders, investors, consultants, attorneys, and internal stakeholders. This position will report to the Director, Capital Markets. 

Responsibilities and Duties

    • Manage financing transactions, including new financing product development, for wind, solar, hydrogen, green data centers, and other deep decarbonization infrastructure
    • Conduct complex, cross-functional analyses that drive strategic decision-making at the project, portfolio, and corporate levels
    • Provide mentorship and assist with development of junior team members
    • Develop and maintain key financing party relationships 
    • Provide guidance to other teams within Intersect Power, including Origination & Trading, Procurement, Construction, and Development as they negotiate key contracts or develop strategies that affect the financeability of projects
    • Participate in special projects including M&A activities and new technology evaluation

Qualifications and Skills

    • At least 3-5 years of experience in the energy or infrastructure industries, preferably with a focus on project finance, tax equity, strategic finance, and/or investment banking
    • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree, with advanced degrees or certifications a plus
    • Expert proficiency in financial modeling for large, complex infrastructure or power generation assets is required
    • Experience with different types of power generation, including solar, wind, battery storage, gas-fired, or nuclear; familiarity with data centers considered a plus

    • Salary: $140,000 - $150,000USD base salary with 40-50% annual target bonus
