Your Role

    • The Senior Instructional Designer & Trainer will work closely with the Vice President of Talent Development to implement strategic learning initiatives that promote employee growth and align with our organizational goals. You will design, develop, and deliver education and development solutions that increase the skills, knowledge, abilities, and growth of employees at every level of the company. Additionally, you will collaborate with HR and other internal teams to ensure the success of training programs and contribute to creating a continuous learning culture.

Your Responsibilities

    • Creating high-quality training programs, including eLearning and instructor-led sessions, using tools such as Articulate and Camtasia.
    • Partnering with internal subject matter experts and external vendors (as needed) to develop content aligned with organizational needs and objectives.
    • Conducting instructor-led training using a variety of techniques, such as role-playing, simulations, and group discussions.
    • Managing our Learning Management System (LMS), including creating content and serving as a backup administrator, and promoting the adoption and impact of the LMS throughout our organization.
    • Conducting needs assessments and skill gap analysis to design targeted training programs.
    • Gathering feedback and analyzing training effectiveness, continuously improving the quality of our training offerings.
    • Developing strategies to promote a culture of continuous learning, including implementing effective communication programs, recognizing employee achievements, and encouraging participation.
    • Leading training projects from kickoff through delivery and evaluation, including scoping needs, developing timelines, coordinating stakeholders, managing resources, and ensuring high-quality instructional design and facilitation outcomes are achieved.
    • Bringing instructional design expertise through structured processes and tools such as requirements gathering frameworks, facilitation guides, and standardized templates to further streamline the department’s work and ensure consistency, quality, and scalability across learning initiatives.
    • Carrying out a variety of administrative responsibilities that support the Talent Development function, such as scheduling new hire and ongoing trainings, drafting the departmental newsletter, sourcing and evaluating courses for LMS release, generating reports, and monitoring and responding to inquiries from the Talent Development inbox.

Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications

    • Experience with, or enthusiasm for learning, artificial intelligence (AI) tools to optimize workflows, problem-solving, and productivity
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
    • 4-6 years of experience in learning and development, talent management, or a related field
    • Proficiency in eLearning tools like Articulate; experience with video/audio editing tools (e.g., Camtasia, Snagit) is a plus
    • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
    • Ability to analyze and evaluate training programs and develop solutions based on feedback
    • Experience managing learning systems (LMS) is preferred
