Impact of role
As Legal Counsel, you will join our management & leadership team. In this role you will be the legal subject matter expert collaborating across all areas of the business with the goal of protecting the interests of Intropic. There will be a significant focus on The Licensing of Information and Software.
Delivery of wholistic legal strategy that covers the drafting and negotiation of all types of contracts, including for data, content acquisition, software and commercial distribution
Provide support to internal stakeholders in relation to all legal matters.
Proactively identify IP risks and work with the business to develop risk mitigation solutions to protect Intropic and the Intropic brand.
Initiate, advise, defend and manage general IP litigation arising for Intropic.
Negotiate professional services, content development, and other commercial agreements. Review and update existing Legal agreements and procedures to support new business models and work proactively to create IP contract templates where necessary.

- You have a deep understanding of the licensing of Information and are recognised by your peers as such
- You have strong academic credentials and are a member of a relevant Bar or other recognized legal association. Be experienced in IP and commercial agreements drafting plus the confidence in addressing and explaining IP legal matters at a senior business level
- You are passionate about IP, content, and have broad experience with IP and corporate transactions work. - Experience working at EMEA or International level preferred
