Impact of Role
Your role will have a wide far-reaching impact as we deliver first class data solutions; pushing the boundaries of data visualisation and displaying financial information in web apps. You will be delivery focused and solve difficult BE problems with innovative answers and work with modern FE frameworks and FE architecture
Responsibilities:
- Working with product managers, research analysts and other engineers
- Maintaining, extending and improving Intropic’s suite of products
- Writing clean, well-tested and production-ready Python code
- Build scalable and performant FE React applications
- Unit, integration and E2E testing
- Support and maintain FE production applications
- Excited to mentor more junior engineers
- Technical leadership capabilities
Requirements:
- You have 2+ years of Full Stack software development experience with strong Python fundamentals and a solid understanding of TypeScript.
- Expert experience building and maintaining production grade FE React applications
- Experience with any FE Testing frameworks (Such as Testing Library, Playwright, etc)
- Developing REST APIs / Web Servers in Flask, Django or FastAPI,
- Building and maintaining data pipelines that involve aggregation of multiple sources
- Experience with microservice architectures
- Practising Extreme Programming (XP): TDD, pair programming
- Automated testing & working in a CI/CD environment
- Deep understanding of the CI/CD process
