The FP&A Analyst will focus primarily on improving efficiency and effectiveness across the organization and will report to the CFO. This includes but is not limited to everything that makes our business run, such as shaping policies and operating procedures, gathering data and doing analysis to help executives make decisions, developing changes to enhance efficiency, and establishing functional metrics and KPIs to improve cross-business transparency. 

You Will:

    • Gain a deep understanding of our business, organizational structure, revenue streams, growth goals, culture, etc. 
    • Plan and execute the annual budget cycle by engaging with leadership and distilling information into a three-statement consolidated model.
    • Create line-of-business profit and loss statements for the company’s various product lines. 
    • Identify budget variances, research root cause, and recommend action items for improvement. 
    • Maintain 13-week cash forecast and sync the model with the three-statement consolidated budget. 
    • Maintain ARR waterfall schedules, provide reporting on changes, and analyze trends. 
    • Audit customer billings and identify adjustments to be made. 
    • Assist in automating reporting processes and conduct necessary account and system reconciliations 
    • Help identify, recommend, and implement procedural improvements across departments to improve efficiency within each team and organization. 
    • Prepare presentation of financial information for company and Board meetings. 
    • Review data sources across teams and build reports and dashboards that will help leaders track inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities.  

You Have:

    • A bachelor's degree in business administration, Economics or Finance, MBA preferred.  
    • An extreme willingness to learn - you will have exposure to all aspects of the company and will need to work well with members from other teams.
    • 3+ years as a financial analyst in a VC/PE backed SaaS company.
    • Deep Microsoft Excel knowledge and the ability to analyze data and experience producing dashboards with complimentary software, such as Mosaic, Tableau, or Power BI.
    • Business knowledge that lends itself to understanding the depth and meaning of the data and reports this role will be working with.
    • Excellent professional level communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Meticulous organizational skills with the ability to track your tasks and the tasks of those around you when needed. 
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You delight in making the business and its teams run better. 
    • Ability and willingness to work daily out of our office in Menlo Park, CA 
$165,000 - $200,000 a year
This salary range is based on the national average and will be commensurate with factors such as experience and alignment.
