At Invisible AI, we are building the future of computer vision. Our core focus is on developing an end-to-end platform that can digitize the physical world to solve business problems. Today, our visual intelligence platform uses AI-enabled cameras to analyze human body posture in real-time — without streaming any video to the cloud. Coming from the world of self-driving cars, the founders of Invisible AI have years of experience in building and deploying large-scale machine learning pipelines.

As a Senior Computer Vision Engineer on our team, in addition to pushing the boundaries of existing deep learning technologies, you will be solving complex algorithmic challenges that deep learning alone cannot. You will be working with a world-class team of engineers to deploy a new wave of AI products that work out-of-the-box across domains without weeks or months of data collection.

Responsibilities:

    • Lead the research, design, and implementation of computer vision algorithms including, but not limited to; algorithms for detection, segmentation, and tracking of person, pose and objects in the scene, 3D reconstruction from multiple views, etc.
    • Develop and train deep learning models using popular frameworks such as PyTorch.
    • Work on data preprocessing, augmentation, and cleaning to ensure high-quality input data for the computer vision models.
    • Optimize algorithms and models for real-time or near-real-time processing, taking into account efficiency and resource constraints.
    • Collaborate with other teams to integrate computer vision solutions into our products and systems.
    • Develop robust testing procedures and validation frameworks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of our computer vision systems.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in computer vision and machine learning, and apply cutting-edge techniques to our projects.
    • Document code, algorithms, and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration within the team.
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth.

Requirements:

    • Experience with robotics and computer vision algorithms (ex: frame transformations, camera calibration, optical flow, etc.)
    • 5+ years of experience with C++ and Python in a Linux/Unix environment.
    • 5+ years of experience training and deploying machine learning models.
    • Well versed in state-of-the-art Deep Learning techniques.
    • Have experience with concurrent programming including: CPU multi-threading, thread pooling, scheduling, real-time threads & Familiarity with CUDA or GPU programming (e.g. OpenCL or GPGPU)
    • Familiarity with training and deploying popular deep learning models like RetinaNet, YOLOv8, and EfficientNet using PyTorch
    • A background in research and complex problem solving.
    • Display excellent communication skills and ability to operate in fast paced ambiguous environments.
    • Be highly effective with time management and remote work communications.
    • Be passionate about AI and is ready to take risks in a startup environment.
Our compensation package plays a big part in how we value your impact on our mission. Our base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The estimated base salary guideline range for this role is between $170,000 and $190,000 and may be modified. This will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. In addition to base salary, your compensation package will include additional components such as equity and benefits.
