 Essential Functions 
• Follow standardize process for execution of projects in Oracle Primavera for the specified location 
• Analyze project schedules and identify key issues in the schedules build by local planners if any 
• Create proposal schedules in Primavera. 
• Create baseline project schedules form templates in Primavera (P6).
 • Maintain (create, update and remove resources) resource pool in P6. 
• Assign resources to projects based on inputs from Project Managers. 
• Request updates from Project Managers on project schedules.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Purpose of this position is to plan, develop, coordinate and supervise all scheduling functions for all projects. Scheduler should have advanced Primavera P6 skills and DoD experience with USACE and/or NAVFAC projects. Must have experience in processing and analyzing the schedule for potential claims and experience in development of schedule fragments for change order purposes.
Manages and directs all planning and scheduling functions for multiple projects ranging from large, extensive contracts to smaller task orders
Develops and implements Company project scheduling standards and procedures, monitors compliance with standards and initiates corrective measures as necessary
Work closely with Construction Operations, Engineering and Procurement to ensure documentation of work plans and alignment with baseline plans as well as interpretation and integration of all contract requirements
Interface and maintain liaison with project management, client and subcontractors on all planning and scheduling related items and functions including reporting requirements, progress status, new impacts, etc.
Develops baseline project schedules with input from Project Team (Superintendent, Project Manager, Quality Control Manager and Subcontractors)
Monitors and updates project schedule with input from Project Team
Modifies schedule to reflect progress and/or changes in project workflow
Performs independent analysis of the integrated deliverables and impacts to the remaining activities in the schedule with recommended actions should impacts exist
Compare existing plans with historical information to provide comparisons and reports on status of project execution as recorded in the schedule
Assists Project Managers with claims resolution
Represent company and/or project in meetings with client, A/E representatives and other contractors as required
Communicates and reinforces the Company vision, values and goals to division staff
Review Contractor’s Baseline Construction Schedule for conformance with the Plans and Specification to ensuring proper WBS breakdown, sequencing, critical path and logic ties, and inclusion of all activities, resource loading, necessary for approval
Perform and coordinate constructability review on Contractor’s Baseline Schedule submittal and identify any missing activities, float sequestering or suppression techniques/issues or any other conflicts
Ensure that project WBS are properly coded and resource loaded
Provide written evaluation, comments and responses on Baseline Schedule
Coordinate with Contractor Scheduler as necessary for clarification and resolution of schedule deficiencies
Review construction progress and inspection reports and maintain an accurate “as built” schedule for use during construction and for evaluation of Contractor’s Monthly Schedule updates and any Time Impact Analysis (TIA)
Review Time Impact Analysis (TIA) submitted by the Contractor and provide written responses, evaluation and recommendation for time extension as Identify schedule variances and opportunities and proactively develop mitigation strategies for the Project Management team
Maintain simplified logic schedules to highlight status of key interfaces for critical path review
Provide progress reporting documents and briefing materials as Develop creative reporting tools to communicate complex project sequencing and/or progress assessments
Participate and review with third-party schedulers to address and provide written comments
Analyze and assess project milestones and reports the fiscal impact and risk to management
Support overlapping project scheduling tasks, issue management, meeting facilitation, document control and monthly status reporting to the Project Management Team
Monitor and report schedule deviations and variances
Prepare contract claims, changes and dispute resolution
Assist in contract billing preparation
Record scope changes, trends and variances
Respond to requests for information and changes/modifications
Works effectively with all levels of Office and Field Staff
Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or related field, required
Six years of scheduling experience with four to six years in direct support of an active construction project, required
Ten years of Microsoft Office Suite experience, required
Six years of Primavera P6 experience, required
Primavera advanced training & certification, proficiency in use of system, required
Three years of DoD experience, preferred
Three years of USACE or NAVFAC experience, preferred
Extensive knowledge of planning and scheduling systems, principles and practices
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
Problem analysis and problem resolution at a functional level
Ability to collaboratively lead project planning and scheduling meetings with any variation of project team participants
Be able to perform a critical path analysis and report on the path(s)
Must possess the ability to effectively interact with various departments to maintain open lines of communication
Proven accuracy, reliability and completeness in job accomplishments
Must be capable of reporting earned value performance measurement techniques
Understanding of critical path method (CPM) scheduling techniques and principles, including ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects concurrently
Must be able to track field progress weekly in reporting Contractor’s performance
Developed reporting tools to communicate complex project sequencing and/or progress assessments
Excellent liaison and interaction skills with team players at all levels on the project, within the company and industry
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-starter with results-driven focus and ability to work with others
Ability to speak clearly and exercise good judgment
Ability to work under pressure
