We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to drive Inworld’s customer engagement through user-focused marketing and developer relations efforts. You will be responsible for reaching our users, building awareness, and managing an engaged community of developers and creators using our platform. We are building the world’s best platform for creating truly intelligent virtual characters, and your job will be to get into the hands of the people who will build incredible experiences with these characters.

The ideal candidate is passionate about AI, games, and virtual worlds and enjoys the challenges and excitement of startups preparing to scale. Inworld AI is currently poised to become the core platform for developers and creators to enable them to create virtual characters. We need you to build the foundations of user engagement and help shape the voice of Inworld. 

As the first Product Marketing hire, this role has a significant opportunity for growth.

Depending on experience, there is an opportunity for this role to be at the Director level.

Drive marketing programs and create product narratives that clearly communicate value propositions
Develop marketing and developer relations strategies to maximize the reach and impact of Inworld’s platform
Refine and evolve Inworld AI product branding and messaging
Build and manage a community of developers and creators (online forums, Discord, etc.)
Develop, launch and manage online marketing campaigns
Develop and own marketing materials, including decks and demos
Connect our platform to the developer communities and drive platform adoption
Create developer onboarding materials such as tutorials, demos, technical articles
Communicate effectively with technical audiences about the value of the platform
Operate autonomously and work closely with product, partnership, and engineering leaders
Create and manage events such as hackathons to raise awareness and engagement

Role and title will vary depending on experience

BA/BS degree or higher; technical degrees and backgrounds a plus
Experience in product marketing, developer relations, tech evangelism, or product management
Background in tech, gaming, VR, or AI
High technical fluency, with a strong ability to communicate directly with engineers on technical topics
Excellent writing skills across different mediums
Confident in articulating value propositions, yet able to seamlessly drop into technical details when needed
Proven experience developing high-impact sales and marketing messaging and branding
Excellent analytical and communication skills and comfort with ambiguity 
Experience scaling marketing at a start-up or fast-growing product is a plus
