The Role:
Dash Financial Technologies is a leading provider of capital markets technology and execution solutions. We are looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager to oversee infrastructure initiatives across networking, server environments, and trading systems. This individual will be responsible for managing complex, cross-functional projects that directly impact on the performance, scalability, and compliance of our trading infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in low-latency trading environments, exceptional Jira expertise, and the ability to bridge technical and business requirements to deliver mission-critical projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project delivery across infrastructure domains including Network engineering, Server deployments, Trading system integration, Colocation and data center expansion
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies in collaboration with engineering and operations teams.
- Drive execution using Jira: manage backlogs, define epics/stories, create dashboards, and maintain real-time visibility for stakeholders.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, retrospectives) and adapt methodologies to suit fast-paced trading infrastructure needs.
- Serve as a primary liaison between infrastructure teams, trading support, and product stakeholders.
- Identify risks and dependencies early; develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Ensure infrastructure projects meet internal standards for compliance, performance, security, and documentation.
- Support audits and reviews by maintaining accurate project artifacts and documentation
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
- Minimum 7 years of technical project management experience, including:
- At least 3 years managing infrastructure projects in trading or financial services
- Understanding of networking (TCP/IP, multicast, BGP), server systems, and data center workflows
- Extensive experience with Jira for managing projects, tracking issues, and generating custom reports
- Strong familiarity with electronic trading environments, including market connectivity and low-latency infrastructure
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated leadership working across cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with: FIX protocol, exchange connectivity (e.g., NYSE, NASDAQ), and market data feeds
- PMP, CSM, or Agile certification
- Exposure to DevOps tools or scripting languages
