We are seeking a Technical Delivery Manager Lead to join our newly created Service Consultant sub-practice, dedicated to serving a mature and impactful long-term client in the financial services industry. What you’ll do:
- Work with Product Owner on day-to-day basis with a focus on delivering value from enterprise software implementation
- Proactively identifying gaps, potential show-stoppers and ambiguous areas in the technical implementation and engaging stakeholders for early resolution
- Collaborate with Program lead to translate technical risks and issues to non-technical stakeholders and documenting potential impact business operations qualitatively
- Work as cross-functional team player to augment the squad needs and develop surgical technical specifications for technical work items such as complex design, translating business rules to implementable code, leading critical system integration design and testing, support the business during UAT and Production sign-off
- Contribute as a member to ensure compliance of product technical quality throughout the Product Delivery Life Cycle (PDLC)
- Contribute to the community of practice and proactively share knowledge with squad members
Requirements:
- Strong software development, design and software architecture experience working in a complex environment to deliver mission critical systems working with vendor and inhouse development teams
- Deep technical experience in providing oversight to the implementation team to ensure product delivery is carried out in accordance with agreed architectures, development and test standards, change management methods, tools, security and privacy requirements.
- Excellent planning and software estimating techniques to drive software delivery on time and within budget
- Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills to manage technical dependencies working in a heterogenous environment, prioritize technical development work items, and plan deliveries coordinating with vendor, software engineers and infrastructure engineers
- Facilitate technical (code, design, system testing, security, infrastructure) reviews with implementation stakeholders and work toward continuous improvement and monitoring product quality and fulfilling product objectives
- Excellent interpersonal with presentation skills to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, using visual techniques for tracking and reporting delivery progress
- Partner and collaborate with senior leaders across various technology groups to effectively manage competing technology priorities and changing customer demands
- 15+ years of experience in the software development experience and or implementing enterprise SaaS or COTS solution
- 10+ years of core full stack experience hands on development experience languages (more than two languages) such as Java/JEE, Python, C#, .Net, Client-side frameworks such as Javascript, Typescript, React, Vue.js,
- 5+ years of experience working leading in the Technical Leadership role to guide seasoned software development and testing team to select, adopt and appropriate systems development methods, tools, testability approaches and technique
- Solid development experience using SQL, NO SQL, Cloud cache repositories
- Solid experience using DevSecOps tools Gitlab, Azure DevOps, SonarCube e
- 5+ experience working in AWS cloud environment with strong understanding cloud development technologies (EC2, API gateway, IAM, Lambda, S3, SNS, SQS/MQ, Event Bridge, ECS/Docker, CloudWatch, IaC - Terraform etc.)
- 5+ years on experience working Agile delivery model in a fast-moving environment
Nice to have:
- 3+ experience of application migration experience primarily on-premise to cloud PaaS environment
- Migrating existing AML to Palantir AML solutions is highly preferred
- AWS Solutions Developer/Architect certification (preferred)
- Java/JEE architect/developer certification (preferred)
- Advanced Javascript (preferred)
- Software engineering/Developer Agile certification (scrumallaince or SAFe)
The base salary range is - $170,000 - $200,000
Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role and level.
Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
