Lab49 has a job opening for a Specialist in financial analysis in Budapest.
The Financial Analyst helps business development at Lab49 by providing timely information, transparency of business trends, highlighting risks to management and implementing mitigation plans. Working directly with Lab49 managers and domain experts, the Specialist will translate the business ask into financial models.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and support management accounting system, report to internal and external stakeholders on monthly / quarterly / yearly results.
- Develop and approve accounting methodology to ensure compliance with the requirements of Lab49 and the Group.
- Reconcile and bridge internal financial results to the Group numbers.
- Handle multiple ad-hoc reports, including updates on pricing, deal estimation, preparation of slides/decks for executive management.
- Support operational reporting (headcount, hiring, attrition, utilization etc.)
- Build productive relationships internally, fostering teamwork by keeping colleagues updated on activities.
CHARACTERISTICS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years’ experience working in finance/audit/financial controlling (preferably in the consulting / IT space).
- Good understanding of accounting principles, PnL structure and operational metrics.
- Experience working with IT projects/initiatives in various delivery models is a plus.
- High proficiency in the use of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to multi-task and assess priorities with excellent time management.
- Excellent communication skills – able to effectively communicate with various business stakeholders and Lab49 teams.
- Proficient business acumen is preferred.
