We are currently seeking a Sales & Marketing Ops Specialist to support our ambitious growth plans in Australia. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of sales and marketing strategies, streamlining and optimizing the sales process, campaign development to build awareness, drive engagement and generate demand among Lab49’s clients and prospects.  

They will partner closely with the Leadership team in Australia and work with global stakeholders to support sales and develop, promote, and oversee marketing campaigns that help in understanding market trends and improving brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Sales Ops 
    • Understand Lab49 offerings, expertise and abilities, supporting content development and enabling proper positioning in proposal documents. 
    • Attend meetings with business development managers, synthesizing and documenting client needs/requirements, and coordinating follow-up action items to keep the sales process moving forward. 
    • Manage CRM data - Ensure that all necessary opportunity data is maintained in Salesforce on a timely basis. 
    • Collaborate with internal design team and external partners to develop deliverables required for campaigns including content, videos, webpages, infographics, email copy, social post copy, and other sales materials. 
    • Conduct targeted client research to maintain up-to-date view of aspects of client’s market presence, offerings, and organizational changes. 
    • Manage the proposal creation process, collaborating with various teams (UX, Strategy, Engineering) to interpret client requirements, develop a response, and distinguish Lab49 in the marketplace. 
    • Assemble business cases for the sales teams to support their proposals. 
    • Assist with the assembly of legal contracts defining customer engagements. 

    • Marketing Ops 
    • Partner with leadership to define and execute the regional marketing strategy in alignment with business priorities. 
    • Develop marketing campaigns across broadcast, social and online platforms to build the credibility of the employer brand. 
    • Host meetups and other marketing outreach events and analyze the success of marketing campaigns with end-to-end ownership. 
    • Carry out market research to keep up to date with customer trends, as well as trying to predict future trends. 
    • Create and promote content, including text posts, video, and images for use on social media, in a way that is consistent with an organisation’s brand and social media strategy. 
    • Meet with clients and other stakeholders (such as social media influencers) and constantly look at improving the marketing efforts. 
    • Develop and execute end-to-end content- and event-driven marketing campaigns that support marketing objectives, expand client relationships, and generate a pipeline of leads across existing and new accounts. 
    • Create sales enablement assets and internal communications activities that educate and engage the business and sales teams to be able to effectively sell.

Characteristics and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s or master’s degree (preferably in Sales or Marketing) 
    • 3-6 years relevant work experience in sales and marketing (technology and consultancy experience a plus, as is experience in the financial services). 
    • Collaborative, motivated self-starter with strong stakeholder management skills, who thrives on working in complex environments 
    • An innovative, creative thinker with excellent communication skills. 
    • Detail-oriented and works independently as well as in groups. 
    • Strong in working with sales and marketing databases, understanding data relationships and flow-on effects. 
    • Passionate about marketing, sales, and understanding the needs of executive clients. 
    • Have good intuition, but trust data more to make informed decisions. 
    • Ability to deftly juggle multiple balls, organize, prioritize, and believe in yourself.
