The Role
Blackpeak (an ION company) is seeking a Associate Director to undertake case management work and client development in Hong Kong. You will be part of a fast-growing team that is well-positioned to provide opportunities for development in various capacity in the research, due diligence and investigations space. 

Key Responsibilities:

    • Execute and manage projects, including due diligence, research and investigations projects. This includes finding sources, managing desktop research and managing clients over the course of projects. Additional focus on complex projects requiring complex source inquiry work.
    • Building and managing client relationships. This includes maintenance of relationships with existing clients through regular catch ups and meetings, pitching to new clients, as well as attending internal and external events and seminars  to build new  relationships.
    • Collaborating with Ion Marketing to develop and execute on Blackpeak’s public relations strategy, which might include creating thought pieces and other content marketing, and managing Blackpeak’s social media presence.
    • Working with senior management to support the continued integration of Blackpeak into the wider org. This includes identification of cross sale opportunities and opportunities to leverage ION products in Blackpeak projects, as well as other tasks in support of ION and Blackpeak initiatives.

Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

    • Familiarity with industry research methodologies, both desktop and source work. Ability to manage and execute complex research work for Blackpeak.
    • Established cache of resources, including a network for source inquiries.
    • Intellectual curiosity and research tenacity. Must love digging deep to answer a question, solve a puzzle, or understand a thorny problem
    • Discretion, good judgment, and the ability to maintain client confidentiality
    • Extremely strong written and oral communication skills
