We are seeking an experienced Software Architect to join our newly created Service Consultant Sub-Practice and exclusively work with a mature and impactful long-term client in the financial services industry. This role requires a balance of independent work and teamwork, focusing on advancing the client's agenda. The ideal candidate will possess some understanding of the financial services sector, coupled with a proven track record of independent work and team collaboration. What you’ll do:
- Define and communicate integration and API patterns.
- Define standards for securing integrations.
- Provide architectural assessments for integration aspects of proposed solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical solutions.
- Ensure best practices are followed in the design, development, and deployment of ServiceNow solutions.
- Work closely with developers, administrators, and other IT teams to ensure cohesive and efficient development processes.
- Engage with business leaders and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide technical solutions.
- Present architectural solutions to stakeholders.
- Ensure that solutions comply with industry and bank standards and security policies.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in integration related technologies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend innovative solutions to enhance platform capabilities.

Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of mainstream integration patterns, architectures, and technologies preferably in an AWS environment – more specifically, understanding of RESTful APIs, messaging patterns and technologies, file transfer patterns and technologies and mainstream database integration approaches.
- Detailed and low-level knowledge, experience, and understanding of security and encryption patterns, and protocols required to secure integrations including Basic Auth, OAUTH, SAML, OIDC, SSO, JWT, and IDP integration patterns.
- Ability to produce actionable technical design documents for critical and complex scoped items collaborating with developers.
- Must have broad understanding of enterprise integration and able to influence the right solution approach taking all stakeholder viewpoints.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile development environments.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years of experience as a Software Architect or similar role.
