We are seeking a well-rounded Staff Systems Engineer to join our System Engineering team. The candidate should have a keen sense of ownership, work well with others, and the ability to systematically debug problems.

Responsibilities:

    • Architect Electrical Systems

    • Electrical System Development and Testing:
    • o   Design the hardware architecture for embedded PCBAs
    • o   Schematic capture and layout of rapid prototyping test boards
    • o   Debug assembled PCBAs
    • o   Work with the electrical engineering and production teams to realize final medical grade PCBAs for production

    • Software and Firmware Development:
    • o   Write embedded firmware libraries in C/C++ to convert hardware into a full system
    • o   Collaborate with the firmware and software teams to support any debugging operations on embedded systems
    • ·       Testing, Validation and Hardware Integration
    • o   Assist with firmware/software integration into hardware to test and validate the projects and libraries
    • o   Work with automated test engineers to create system verification and validation setups for production
    • ·       Documentation
    • o   Create comprehensive documentation for projects, libraries, and experimental data
    • o   Maintain clear and organized records of development processes and results

Qualifications:

    • Bachelors with seven plus years experiences, Masters with four plus years experiences, or Ph.D with two plus years experiences. degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field
    • Strong embedded hardware skills for schematic, circuit, and layout of rapid prototyping PCBAs
    • Hardware debugging skills to validate PCBAs
    • ·       Strong embedded firmware and software skills in languages such as C, C++, and Python
    • ·       Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
    • ·       Effective communication and teamwork abilities
