About the position:
Ippon’s Account Executives have the unique opportunity to work with a team of talented and driven consultants to help the clients achieve their business and digital transformation goals. The Account Executives represent Ippon and its capabilities as they engage and support clients, and deliver a great experience throughout the sales and account management engagements. Roles and Responsibilities
- Maintain a robust pipeline of pre-qualified leads, qualified opportunities, and current engagement expansions in order to achieve sales targets
- Identify, analyze, develop, and actively manage comprehensive account strategy based on domain, specificity, market trends/size/data, partnerships, etc.
- Document, track, and update account plans via Salesforce
- Ensure clients’ technical and business needs are properly vetted and understood; serve as liaison between strategic and technical stakeholders
- Serve as POC and manage creation and/or execution of NDAs, Proposals, MSAs, SOWs, SOW Extensions, both internally and externally
- Manage and facilitate proposal creation and delivery with Practice Leads and Executive Leadership
- Effectively negotiate pricing, activities/deliverables, assumptions, acceptance criteria, delivery personnel and structure (i.e., work locations, remote capacity), and payment terms with clients
- Educate potential clients and partners on Ippon’s services, expertise, and value-add
- Partner with marketing and practice managers (Product, Data, Cloud / DevOps, Software Engineering) to identify client prospect demand and opportunities
- Responsible for organizing and facilitating qualifying/pre-sales meetings
- Partner with the marketing team in creating and articulating compelling value propositions, offerings, case studies, etc.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships based on consistent and effective communication, frequent engagement, and top-notch delivery
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
- Prepare and share communication around opportunity and account statuses, including competitors’ offers and strategies
- Maintain flexibility, focus, organization, and prioritization to effectively manage multiple clients, projects, and deadlines, as well as market trends and conditions
- Leverage our strategic technology partnerships in order to develop new relationships and/or expand existing accounts
- Expand Ippon’s presence and recognition by participating in external meetups, conferences, or community events
- Consistently identify opportunities for continuous improvement in processes of both new business development and existing account management
- Support the Client Success team with ensuring customer satisfaction and consistent engagement
- Responsible for monitoring and escalating potential sales related expansion opportunities, including all related documentation
- Work with Client Success team to address and remediate any project delivery/success feedback
- Maintain regular communication with sales, consulting, and client success leadership
- Manage and maintain all engagement-related documentation as defined by Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Competencies we are looking for:
- 3+ years of previous sales experience in the IT industry required
- Previous sales experience in the consulting industry preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven advanced presentation skills
- Ability to prioritize and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable interacting with both business and technical teams

$120,000 - $150,000 a year
