About the position:
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Account Executive to join our team, focusing on Snowflake professional services. This role will be pivotal in expanding our presence across the US East Coast, targeting mid to large companies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Snowflake sales and services, a deep understanding of the Snowflake ecosystem, experience in regulated industries, and a solid understanding of data and enterprise IT. You will be accountable for creating demand, nurturing relationships, negotiating, and closing deals. Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Sales and Business Development:
    • Drive new business development and sales of Snowflake professional services while educating potential clients and partners on Ippon’s services, expertise, and value-add
    • Organize and facilitate qualifying/pre-sales meetingsIdentify, qualify, and close new business opportunities within the target territory
    • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, while meeting and exceeding defined quotas
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships based on consistent and effective communication, frequent engagement, and top-notch delivery
    • Attend Snowflake conferences and events and represent Ippon in a professional manner
    • Expand Ippon’s presence and recognition by participating in or hosting external meetups, conferences, or community events
    • Snowflake Partnership Collaboration:
    • Create and nurture relationships with the Snowflake sales organization
    • Work in tandem with Snowflake sales teams to identify and drive customer success
    • Leverage the Snowflake partnership to maximize business opportunities and customer value
    • Earn the Snowflake Sales Professional Accreditation
    • Strategic Account Management:
    • Manage and grow existing Snowflake accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty
    • Work closely with Snowflake clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions
    • Identify, analyze, develop, and actively manage comprehensive account strategy based on domain, specificity, market trends/size/data, partnerships, etc
    • Document, track, and update account plans via Salesforce
    • Ensure clients’ technical and business needs are properly vetted and understood; serve as liaison between strategic and technical stakeholders
    • Serve as POC and manage creation and/or execution of NDAs, Proposals, MSAs, SOWs, SOW Extensions, both internally and externally
    • Manage and facilitate proposal creation and delivery with Practice Leads and Executive Leadership
    • Market Expansion:
    • Expand Ippon’s footprint in the US East Coast, focusing on mid to large companies
    • Leverage Ippon's expertise in regulated industries to penetrate new markets
    • Stay abreast of industry trends and Snowflake advancements to provide innovative solutions
    • Partner with the marketing team in creating and articulating compelling value propositions, offerings, case studies, etc., in order to identify new Snowflake opportunities and grow existing Snowflake accounts
    • Collaboration and Reporting:
    • Collaborate with marketing, presales, and technical teams to develop compelling proposals and presentations
    • Be responsive to new leads gathered by marketing 
    • Record lead, opportunity and deal status in Salesforce
    • Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and forecast to senior management
    • Mentor other account executives and share best practices
    • Manage and maintain all engagement-related documentation as defined by Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
    • Work with Client Success and delivery teams to address and remediate any project delivery/success feedback, and to deliver seamless and impactful services

Competencies we are looking for:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Or, equivalent experience
    • 5+ years of experience in mid to large company sales, with a focus on data solutions, cloud services, platform software or related technology
    • Previous sales experience in the consulting industry, preferred
    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets (at least $2M quota), originating and closing business with new accounts
    • Existing executive relationships in targeted accounts and is comfortable speaking to executives with a consultant’s mindset
    • In-depth knowledge of the Snowflake platform and its applications
    • Previous technical Snowflake or similar technical experience preferred
    • Experience in selling to mid to large companies, preferably in regulated industries
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
    • Ability to collaborate with clients, partners, and practice leads to close complex opportunities
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
    • Willingness to travel within the US East Coast as needed
    • Ability to communicate effectively in both technical and business languages

$140,000 - $170,000 a year
