Purpose of Position: We seek a Sales Manager responsible for the implementation of the commercial strategy in all the Southern East Europe countries and the SMEs and Distribution channels, reporting to the Head of Sales, to achieve the commercial objectives in terms of sales and gross margin. Taking care of the relationship with the customer by coordinating the sales network and controlling the belonging area in order to guarantee the proximity to customers and market intelligence.
Main activities / responsibilities:
- Implement the commercial strategy in Southern East Europe.
- Manage the relationship and collaboration with the customers effectively and in line with the company objectives;
- Collaborate with other sales managers to ensure the balance between the different areas;
- Develop and implement customers and area’s plans;
- Identify the drivers to manage the growth of the market;
- Study, propose and implement activities aimed at developing turnover through the distribution of products;
- Increase the average turnover per customer in terms of sales and product mix, according to the received guidelines;
- Support the development of new business in the area of competence;
- Monitor and analyze the competitors and share information with the sales team following the received instructions;
- Manage the sales forecasts related to the portfolio;
- Manage the reporting periodically and during the on-site meeting
Requierements:
- Available to travel for more than 75% of the time in all the Southern East Europe countries; Knowledge of the territory of competence and leading distributors;
- Education: Preferable degree and background in economics or equivalent experience. Appreciated a technical training in the food sector.
- Professional Skills: Excellent communication skills; Capability to score new business and develop the old ones; Ability to analyze the market and understand customer needs; Ability of plan and achieve objectives; Knowledge of negotiation techniques; Products: general knowledge of the bakery/Pastry/ice-cream’s products, with preferable focus on chocolate and creams;
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in the specific role, in B2B companies and in the sector of IRCA Group.
- Language Skills: Proficient English
- Computer Skills: MS Office (Excel and Power Point)
- Backgrounds: knowledge of bakery/chocolate/ice-cream/pastry semi-finished products & markets / players
