Overview of the Role:
Embark on an exhilarating journey as a Sales Manager for the UK & Ireland, where your primary focus will be nurturing and expanding relationships with key partner distributors, as well as directly engaging with esteemed dessert, cake, bakery, and confectionery manufacturers and major retailers. This pivotal role involves crafting and executing the UK & Ireland commercial strategy, fostering enduring partnerships, and driving innovation plans to ensure profitable growth.

Key Objectives & Responsibilities:

Strategic Development: Develop and implement the commercial strategy within your domain, aligning closely with organizational objectives.

Customer Relationship Management: Effectively manage and enhance relationships with customers, including distributors and major accounts, in alignment with company goals.

Planning and Execution: Formulate and execute comprehensive plans for customers and the designated area, identifying key drivers for territory growth.

Distribution Network: Monitor and optimize the distribution network within the territory, ensuring maximum coverage and efficiency.

Technical Support: Provide essential technical and commercial information to the salesforce of our distributors, enabling effective engagement.

Collaborative Approach: Work closely with the Ambassadors Team to deliver seamless support to customers, fostering a unified approach.

Business Development: Drive new business initiatives within your area of responsibility, identifying and seizing emerging opportunities.

Competitive Analysis: Regularly monitor and analyze competitors, sharing insights with the sales team to inform strategic decisions.

Sales Management: Oversee sales forecasts for the portfolio, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.

Reporting: Generate periodic reports and contribute to on-site meetings, offering valuable insights to guide decision-making processes.

The Person - What We're Looking For:

Qualifications: 
While a degree or equivalent qualification is desirable, it's not mandatory.

Experience and Skills:

Proven Track Record: Essential experience includes successful sales within Food manufacturers/Distributors and major UK retailers/supermarkets, ideally in the bakery/pastry/ice cream or dessert product category.

Industry Knowledge: Background in Product Development, NPD, or Technical aspects within the Bakery industry is advantageous.

Concept Selling: Proficient in 'concept selling', translating ideas into tangible results.

Customer-Centric: Ability to deeply understand customer needs, going above and beyond to achieve success.

Proactive Approach: Customer-oriented, proactive, with a focus on quality and results.

Financial Acumen: Proven budget management experience and strong financial acumen, including full P&L accountability.

Relationship Management: Strong relationship management skills, fostering collaborative partnerships both internally and externally.

Negotiation Skills:** Excellent negotiation skills to drive mutually beneficial agreements.
