This full-time position is based in Tilburg and offers a clear development path toward a more senior or leadership role in Quality Assurance. You will gain hands-on experience across various areas, from complaint handling to audits, lab coordination, and data management.

Purpose of position: are you looking for a dynamic quality position where precision meets collaboration and growth? Join our experienced Quality Team as a QA Specialist in Development and become a key player in maintaining and improving food quality standards in a fast-growing organization.
In this position, you’ll work closely with the Quality Manager and other departments (Production, Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs) to ensure quality across the entire production chain. You’ll start with supporting tasks such as complaint handling, internal audits, and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS). Gradually, you'll grow into a strategic partner in managing risks, resolving deviations, and handling certification-related matters. This role offers a clear path toward a leading position within QA.

Key Responsibilities

    • Support quality processes such as complaint handling, internal audits, and document management.
    • Gradually take ownership of the Quality Management System and certification documentation (e.g. Halal, Kosher, RSPO).
    • Conduct root cause analyses and support risk and deviation management.
    • Collaborate with Production, Supply Chain, and Regulatory Affairs to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
    • Perform incoming quality control on raw materials and coordinate with external laboratories.
    • Maintain and update product data and labeling documentation (in M3 and Optiva).
    • Promote quality awareness through internal communication, training, and quality rounds.

Education & Experience

    • Bachelor's degree (HBO level), preferably in Food Technology or a related field.
    • Experience with ERP and Quality Management Systems.
    • Knowledge of HACCP, FSSC22000, GMP.
    • Basic understanding of labeling, allergens, and product specifications.

Languages

    • Dutch: Fluent (internal communication).
    • English: Proficient oral and written skills (customer communication and documentation).
