Purpose of position: We are looking for a passionate and hands-on Junior Process Engineer to join our team in a dynamic and growing food manufacturing environment. You will support process optimization and daily operational efficiency in our plant, supporting the industrialization of new sweet products and the optimization of existing processes. This is a great opportunity to grow within a structured and supportive environment while gaining real-world experience in the food industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the industrialization of new products, collaborating closely with R&D to translate lab-scale formulations into full-scale production
- Assist in the design, testing, and validation of new processes and equipment
- Collaborate with the Operations team to improve existing manufacturing processes in terms of efficiency, quality, and sustainability
- Participate in trials, pilot runs, and technical feasibility studies for product launches and process changes
- Ensure the alignment and the update of the production BOMs
- Monitor key process parameters
- Ensure documentation is up to date (SOPs, technical reports) and support operator training when needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Production, R&D) to implement process improvements
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science & Technologies, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Professional Skills: Interest in both food product development and manufacturing processes; knowledge of food industrial production processes.
- Experience: Previous experience in similar roles.
- Language Skills: Italian & English (at least B2).
- Computer Skills: MS Office
- Behavioral Requirements: Hands-on approach, attention to detail, and good problem-solving skills. Collaborative mindset and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
