Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT)
projects. Lead and guide the work of technical staff. Serve as liaison between business and technical
aspects of projects. Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage. Monitor
progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met.
Minimum Technical and Professional Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and more than 6 years of position related experience or trade school certification and more than 8 years of position related experience
DHS EOD Suitability
Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments. Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks. Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems. Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.
- Operates a computer and performs desk-based computer tasks continually; frequently viewing a computer screen
- Rarely lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling objects and/or equipment that weighs up to 50 pounds
- Remains in a sitting/stationary position continually or almost continually during the work day
