To support our growth and support our customer base, we are seeking an enthusiastic person to join our team as a Supply Chain Specialist. This person will work closely with various cross functional teams to support various supply chain functions including but not limited to purchasing, manufacturing support, inventory management, demand planning, warehousing, transportation and logistics.

Responsibilities

    • Issue purchase orders for various components and services
    • Process risk buys for hardware 
    • Ensure incoming materials and components are properly routed based on their use case
    • Work cross functionally in the organization to assist in addressing all aspects of materials management 
    • Inventory control to include receiving, scaling and maintaining of stockrooms, and performing cycle counts
    • End of life component planning to minimize exposure due to obsolete parts
    • Support setting up and managing an RMA process for parts
    • Maintain relationships with certain suppliers while promoting company initiatives and value
    • Identify risk in supply chain functions, create mitigation plans to address and escalate as needed
    • All other duties as required or assigned

Qualifications

    • 5+ years of supply chain experience in the robotics industry, manufacturing or a related field
    • Experience with inventory management systems and/or warehouse management systems
    • Experience using warehouse inventory management systems, MRP, ERP, PLM systems and tools, preferably in a robotics or manufacturing environment
    • Ability to lead, train and mentor employees individually or a team
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Program and or process management
    • Ability to travel as needed
    • Ability to use material handling equipment such as forklift or pallet jack
    • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs

Education

    • Requires an associates degree or higher or equivalent work experience
    • APICS training and/or certification is a plus
