ispace Technologies, US. is a looking for a highly motivated and talented Electrical Test Engineer to join its new team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, train and oversee reliability test strategies for product and the subcomponents of the product to maximize space life and eliminate early life failures.
- Design and execute novel environmental, RF, mechanical and electrical testing techniques tailored to the product and its functions.
- Write test programs to exercise functionality of the product and its subcomponents over various conditions and environments.
- Automate reliability testing initiatives and reporting using proprietary visualization techniques and through knowledge of the product and its functions.
- Work collaboratively with hardware, software and network engineering teams to maximize reliability across all disciplines.
- Define the ongoing reliability of testing strategies to monitor the manufacturing process health and screen for long term reliability defects caused by process and component variability.
- Leverage knowledge to improve testing proficiency and efficiency to achieve positive ispace goals and objectives.
- Assist and mentor junior engineers as appropriate.
- Collaborate in team meetings and activities.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an electrical engineering discipline. We will consider an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience
- 5+ years of electrical test engineering experience
- Excellent statistical analysis and electrical engineering skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the technical aspects of operations, engineering and quality.
- Good working knowledge of ISO, AS9100 and quality control standards.
- Experience with operations, engineering and quality processes along with their principles.
- Ability to work with a team along with providing guidance to drive improvements towards process efficiency.
- Excellent communication and liaison skills as an individual.
- Ability to work well within a team driven culture.
- Proven track record of driving continuous quality improvement in a engineering as well as manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems.
- Engineering knowledge of programming test applications as well as strong knowledge of electronics including the ability to generate/read schematics, assembly drawings, and parts lists.
Preferred Qualifications
- AS9100 industry with SPACE experience is a plus.
- Experience with NPI (New Product Introductions) and in transitioning products from the R&D phase into high volume manufacturing is highly desirable.
- Prior ETE experience a plus.
- Experience working for Aerospace/Space Prime or sub-contractor strongly preferred
- Experience in startup environment a plus

- Schedule may vary depending on program development needs; flexibility required
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
$110,000 - $140,000 a year
The salary posted is a targeted range for budget of position. Base compensation can be negotiated and will be commensurate with experience, skills, education, and training.
