Reporting to the CMO, this newly created role will build a customer acquisition and conversion machine. We’re looking for a leader who takes ownership, crafts strategies, drives execution and obsesses over results. Issuu’s Head of Growth and Conversion will lead a team that focuses on innovative ways to accelerate new user acquisition and the conversion of existing freemium users.

You will leave the traditional channels (SEO, SEM, etc.) to others to manage and focus your attention on acquisition programs; growth hacks (partnering with a dedicated engineering team); affiliate, influencer and referral programs; partner marketing and activation; and any other ideas you bring with you.

What You Will Be Doing

    • Design and build an acquisition machine that doesn’t exist today. You’ll direct the resources of your own team and leverage other marketing, customer success and product teams to ultimately increase the number of paid subscribers on the Issuu platform. 
    • Own the development, execution, and optimization of outbound and offline user acquisition, pipeline generation and upsell (conversion) efforts.
    • Establish a culture of testing and experimentation; regularly test new programs, tactics, partners, channels, etc. to accelerate customer acquisition and conversion.
    • Partner with sales and business development on campaign follow-up, outreach strategies, and partner activation tactics.
    • Forecast measure, and report on the impact of marketing initiatives on leads, pipeline, and revenue..
