This person masters Agile and Project Management best practices and is versed at implementing them.
They will help organize a cross-functional team of Designers, Artists, Engineers, and Product Managers and drive the completion of product goals and facilitate communications, organization, process, and accountability across all departments.
The candidate will motivate and support the team to ensure product goals, objectives, milestones, and deliverables are achieved.
Responsibilities
- Must not be afraid to be hands on while fostering a positive & creative environment
- Lead development and communications of day-to-day tasks and scheduling
- Overcome problems or issues to achieve goals even at hard times
- Be able to manage team stress and pressure and redirect to a positive outcome and working environment
- Be able to handle difficult conversations
- Collaborate with the team to identify roadblocks and bottlenecks that may prevent the team from achieving their goals and contribute with potential solutions and alternatives
- Help make informed decisions in conjunction with team leads on work methods, development pipeline, priorities, and available resources
- Provide progress updates to senior leadership
Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience in a scrum master / project management role, ideally within the games industry, orchestrating work for internal and external game teams
- The candidate must be Scrum Master Certified
- Advanced Scrum Master knowledge is desired
- PMP certification is desired
- Agile coaching experience is desired
- Agile product management is desired
- Intermediate to Advanced English Level
- Experience using Jira (Kanban, Scrum)/ Confluence (user and settings, automation rules, workflow, templates), Meets, Zoom, Ms Office, Miró, Lucid, Mural, Tableau or similar
- Excellent oral and written communication and collaboration skills
- Able to flex your style depending on the circumstance
- Ability to take direction and incorporate feedback
- Sense of humor and optimistic approach
- Experience in group and events facilitation
