We're looking to hire a full-time experienced and skilled Job Coordinator to join our growing team. The expectation is that the Job Coordinator will lead by example with all of Janney Roofing’s core principles of Quality, Honesty, Integrity and Generosity. As a whole, our team is composed of members from all walks of life which enhances how we incorporate and cultivate work that is done.
The Job Coordinator directly supervises and coordinates activities of roofing construction trade workers, and their helpers. They report directly to the Production Manager, and is responsible for assuring that all projects assigned meet customer’s expectations, manufacturer’s specifications, and building codes to achieve superior quality. In addition, they will ensure all company safety procedures are followed. Additional tasks will be assigned as needed to benefit the operations of the production department. This position will require the usage of a company truck to travel to various job locations where Janney Roofing may be performing work.

Essential Functions
Effectively provide communication to staff members, installation crews, vendors, and provide excellent customer service
Manage install crews to include daily performance and schedule
Input job budget additions and subtractions
Assign charge backs to crews
Knowledge of roofing techniques and material
Review scope of work of all job folders for accuracy and timely completion
Coordinate the ordering and delivery of materials required for the completion of each project (i.e. materials, dumpster swaps, subs, inspections, and equipment)
Communicate with the homeowner throughout project and final walk-through
Manage crews to ensure they are in compliance with company safety procedures
Communicates to the Production Manager about any issues that may impair quality or safety
Proactively manage product installation for quality to ensure that all project meet/pass all building codes
Responsible for maintaining assigned company trucks
Provide feedback on how to correct deficiencies and prevent reoccurrence
Take all measures necessary to mitigate and minimize callbacks for problem/repairs on completed work

Additional Responsibis
Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce work that is accurate, complete, and error-free is required
Completion of OSHA 10 certification upon hire
Knowledge, skills, abilities, and qualifications
Must be able to climb ladders and walk roofs
Must be able to communicate effectively using written and oral skills
Must be able to speak English fluently. Fluency in Spanish is a plus
Must possess and maintain a Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record
Must be willing to travel
Must have a strong work ethic and be detail oriented
Must display a positive attitude and desire to learn and grow
Roofing experience is a plus

$35,500 - $43,250 a year
Salary: $35,568.00 - $43,250.00 per year
Orlando, FL: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Work Location: Need ability to travel between different cities-On the road
