Job description

    • The Tele Collection Executive is responsible for proactively contacting delinquent customers to collect outstanding payments and negotiate payment arrangements. They must exhibit excellent communication skills, empathy, and a firm yet respectful approach to ensure debt recovery while maintaining customer relationships.

Responsibilities

    • Initiate outbound calls to customers with overdue payments or outstanding debts.
    • Use scripted or customized conversation templates to engage with customers professionally.
    • Attempt to reach customers through various communication channels, including phone calls, emails, and SMS.
    • Assess customers' financial situations and propose feasible payment solutions.
    • Negotiate repayment plans, settlements, or alternative arrangements to clear debts.
    • Provide information on available payment options and guide customers in choosing the most suitable one.
    • Update customer account information, including contact details and payment history.
    • Prepare and maintain detailed reports on collections activities.
    • Maintain professionalism and patience when dealing with difficult or irate customers.
    • Build rapport with customers to encourage cooperation and commitment to payment.
    • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly collection targets.
    • Continuously improve collection strategies to optimize results.
    • Follow up with the customers till the payment is received.
    • Escalating irregular cases to the supervisor and seeking help in closing them.
    • Explain the consequences to customers of not paying on time and take action in order to encourage timely payments.
    • Stay up-to-date with new products/features/services and new pricing/payment plan


    • Candidate Should have DRA(debt recovery agent) certificate(non DRA can also apply)
    • Tele Collection Executive is responsible for proactively contacting delinquent customers to collect outstanding payments and negotiate payment arrangements, active listening, patience, negotiation skills, and problem-solving. During the lean period, will be supporting other teams as well. 

Skills

    • Previous experience in collections, tele calling, or customer service is an advantage.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities.
    • Empathy and patience when dealing with customers.
    • Basic computer skills for data entry and recordkeeping.
    • Knowledge of debt collection laws and regulations is a plus.
    • Persistence and the ability to handle rejection professionally.
    • Results Oriented with a focus on meeting targets.
    • Qualifications and Education: Any Graduate
