Role Description
- We are looking for a Quality Assurance Tester (Manual) to join our team at Jar in Bengaluru. As a Quality Assurance Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products and applications meet the required quality standards before they are released. You will be conducting manual testing across multiple platforms and working closely with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and address defects and bugs. This is a full-time on-site position located in Bengaluru.
Responsibilities
- Experience in manual and automation testing and a strong understanding of the software testing life cycle (STLC)
- Experience with bug-tracking systems such as JIRA.
- Experience in mobile application testing
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the development process
- Good knowledge of testing the frontend and backend.
- Very good at debugging skills and problem-solving.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and communicate defects to cross-functional teams
- Experience with SQL queries.
- Solid understanding of basic programming concepts and testing methodologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in different testing techniques and methodologies for API, Web, Mobile Apps(Android/ iOS)
- Assist in the creation of test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
Requirements
- Relevant experience of 2 to 5 years.
- Familiarity with software testing tools such as Jira, Charles, and Postman
- Experience in Rest Assured, Appium, or Selenium.
- Skill set - Mobile Application, Android, IOS, API Testing, bug tracking tools
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
