Software – Platform Engineering
As an Architect on Jawbone Health’s Platform team, you will design, develop, and maintain platform-level services used by Jawbone’s applications. You will work closely with web and mobile client developers to build services and APIs that are fast, scalable, and easy to use.

Our microservices and APIs provide the means for delivering those experiences. Working closely with client and infrastructure developers, QA teams, and product managers to define and implement APIs for Jawbone products.Architecting and developing backend services to support application features with a focus on performance and scalability.
BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Strong programming knowledge, experience with Python a plus
Experience with relational databases and SQL, preferably MySQL
Experience with high volume, high availability applications and systems
Experience with NoSQL databases, preferably Cassandra
Experience with container/virtualization systems, preferably Docker
Experience with microservice architectures and REST APIs
