The JSSI Parts & Leasing (JPL) Quality Manager is responsible for all aspects of JPL’s quality, including 3rd party certifications, operational, and customer quality. This position will be based in JPL’s warehouse in Erlanger, KY, outside CVG airport.
Essentials Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead JPL to 3rd party ISO9001 certification, and maintain JPL’s ISO9001 and ASA-0100 certification by coordinating and leading on-site and virtual audits.
- Oversee self-audit program, scheduling and following up on self-audits
- Maintain JPL’s corrective action process, including issuing corrective actions, escalating lack of response, ensure effectiveness of actions, and performing follow up reviews.
- Maintain JPL’s procedures- schedule periodic reviews of procedures, review/approve all quality procedures, track training/change management of new/updated procedures, and maintain database of procedures.
- Manage customer returns process
- o Review customer returns for trends and issue corrective actions as required.
- o Ensure proper tracking for customer returns.
- o As required, issue credits to customers after review.
- Monitor vendor quality performance, both inbound and landed customer quality. Perform on-site vendor audits as required.
- Ensure adherence to standards across all of JPL’s business units.
- Ensure operational quality of all warehouse processes, including paperwork, visual inspection, and packaging. Track problems and address using corrective actions in tandem with warehouse team.
- Serve as on-site expert for warehouse quality – train staff to recognize defects, answering questions about certifications, trace, part conditions, visual inspections, or whatever else may arise.
- Coach warehouse team in improving inspection processes.
- Oversee drop-shipment quality.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Experience in Aviation/Aerospace industry, preferably parts trading.
- Knowledge of aviation parts and certification requirements.
- ISO9001 experience.
- Six Sigma Black Belt or similar certification.
- Project Management
- ASQ or other certification desired.

For this role, the annual base pay generally ranges from $80,00 to $100,000, with the final offer determined by variable factors including but not limited to market location, job-specific knowledge, skills, education, and experience. In addition, your total rewards package may include an annual discretionary bonus plan, incentive or sales bonus plan, or other form of additional compensation, based on your role.
