Jet Support Services, Inc. (JSSI) is seeking a well-qualified Inside Sales Representative to be based at our Chicago, IL corporate Headquarters, or based remotely in the USA out of a home office space.

Position Responsibilities:

    • Generate sales of existing inventory and brokered opportunities.
    • Learn the value of aircraft parts based on application, condition, tag detail and market availability.
    • Serve as a primary contact for web-based inquiries, including phone and email.
    • Create relationships with parts brokers, repair vendors and operators.
    • Develop an thorough understanding of existing inventory to create targeted push lists.
    • Proactively call on prospective owners, operators and MRO’s to generate lead sources for outside sales team.
    • Effectively present JSSI Parts & Leasing to prospective customers.
    • Identify and move quickly on sales opportunities.
    • Provide creative revenue generating solutions to customers.
    • Settle discrepancies with customers in a professional and timely manner.
    • Negotiate prices with customers & vendors.
    • Review customer agreements and identify discrepancies or problems.
    • Provide current inventory listings to marketplace web sites on regular basis.
    • Identify market trends to anticipate areas of opportunity.
    • Maximize sales and margin results.
    • Attend domestic and international trade shows, conferences, and seminars.

Desired Credentials:

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Three years in sales
    • Ability to effectively communicate business opportunities
    • Working knowledge of aircraft and engines
    • Ability to cultivate strong relationships and communicate effectively via email and telephone
    • Ability to function independently
    • Highly organized and able to thrive in fast-paced environment 
    • Domestic and international travel may be required for this position
    • Ability to work evenings and weekends as part of rotation as required.  
    • Experience with Quantum or similar systems. 
    • Experience negotiating prices and terms.
