Position Summary:
The Customer Service Representative is a critical role within the expanding parts business of JSSI.  This individual will directly support the Asia Pacific Regional Sales Representative with the quote and order flow from JSSI Parts & Leasing’s (JPL’s) online ordering portal, as well as the relationship driven orders from the sales force.  The customer service representative will ensure orders are captured accurately and precisely in the system.  They will own the pre and post-agreement aspects of orders including purchase and sales order completion and logistics.  In addition, they will directly support the Director of Customer Experience and the inside sales team as required.

Position Responsibilities

    • Supporting the Asia Pacific regional sales representative as required.
    • Contribute global sales phone and email queues.
    • Work closely with the JPL procurement and sales teams.
    • Generate sales of existing inventory and brokered opportunities.
    • Identify and move quickly on sales opportunities.
    • Create active follow-up communication with customers to ensure successful order conversion.
    • Build relationships with clients such as owners, operators, MROs (maintenance repair and overhaul shops) to generate lead sources for outside sales team.
    • Provide creative revenue generating solutions to customers.
    • Work with Product Line Representatives (PLRs) and salespeople to create customer quotes, enter sales order and purchase order information into Salesforce JPL’s inventory system, including invoicing.
    • Effectively present JSSI Parts & Leasing to prospective customers.
    • Settle discrepancies with customers in a professional and timely manner.
    • ·Review customer agreements and identify discrepancies or problems. 

Desired Credentials

    • Bachelor’s degree (not essential)
    • Minimum of three years in procurement or sales.
    • Strong communication skills – very high level of English required
    • Working knowledge of aircraft and engines
    • Ability to cultivate strong relationships and communicate effectively via email and telephone.
    • Ability to function independently.
    • Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Suite
    • ·Experience in Salesforce or similar systems
    • Highly organized and able to thrive in fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to work evenings and weekends as part of rotation as required.
