Job Summary: 

The GTM & Narrative team drives the Go-To-Market strategy and storytelling for JioStar’s Sporting properties across both Digital and TV. In this role, you will be responsible for ideating and building narratives that address advertiser needs, positioning Sports as a powerful platform for impactful brand building.

Key Responsibilities

    • Develop Go-to-market presentations for both TV and Digital across JioStar’s Sports properties (cricket, football, tennis, kabaddi and more)
    • Develop compelling counter-narratives to address the strengths and positioning of Sports on Jiostar vs. leading digital platforms and emerging challengers such as the leading global video and social platforms and Retail Media Networks.
    • Create post-evaluation reports and presentations capturing tournament highlights, viewership trends, audience segmentation, regional reach, brand lift insights, sponsor visibility, and social media buzz.
    • Evangelize JioStar and Sports as high-impact strategic platforms for brand building and long-term equity creation
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as sales, viewership/supply, customization, pricing, measurement, product, marketing, distillery, and design to craft impactful tournament narratives.

Skills and Attributes for Success

    • Structured problem solver - Ability to develop solutions in an ambiguous environment
    • Strong in analytics with a high comfort around powerpoint and excel
    • Should have worked in inter team and intra team collaborative roles
    • Strong flair and keen interest in advertising, media, and sports.
    • Experience in Digital Marketing with an in-depth understanding of adtech, martech, media, sports

Preferred Education and Experience

    • MBA with 3-4 years of experience in ad sales, branding or strategy consulting will be preferred. Looking for candidates from Management consulting/ Market strategy/Business strategy/Ad Sales Strategy GTM background
