Key Responsibilities
Owning the allocated shows portfolio for the year effectively through the campaign planning process
• Responsible for campaign strategy and helm the campaign for new releases on JioHotstar and working closely with content marketing leadership in annual planning including budgets, targets and other KPIs.
• Work with analytics, category and content teams to build an insightful brief to capture the show proposition and our go-to-market strategy
• Lead the end to end campaign, delegating to your team and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop marketing creatives and ideas that build massive buzz and make our titles and platform stand apart in a crowded market
• Manage Production houses and Talent to build and execute campaigns
• Close collaboration with the internal content teams and external creative teams
• Measure the performance of the marketing campaigns and make timely adjustments to improve the marketing outcomes and make relevant recommendations to improve our promotion strategy
• Be the marketing POC in the post-launch evaluation process by tracking and owning the show/movie metrics and solving for problem areas.
• Love entertainment and consume ridiculous amounts of content - Movies, Shows
• Be a good team lead and an excellent collaborator who is highly aligned with internal teams as well as creative partners including production houses and talent.
• Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously
• Understanding of current marketing trends and opportunities.
• Leadership and people management skills
• Should understand analytics to evaluate marketing campaign beats as well as title performance
• Are unafraid to take risks and can pivot without getting stalled by challenges along the way
• Strong communication skills
• Conflict resolution- maturity, macro view and maturity to handle conflicts
• A good understanding of the audience/ consumer behaviour
Preferred Education & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in building strategic and creative consumer marketing campaigns, preferably with a background in entertainment media (TV and/or film) or worked with a top innovative brand, advertising, or media agency with an emphasis on long-form Content Marketing.
- Have a deep understanding of consumer insights and how they are translated into creative strategy and campaigns.
- Have deep knowledge in running a 360-campaign, from strategy development to tactical execution (including AV/trailers, digital/social, print and out-of-home)
