The Ticketing Executive will play a pivotal role in the planning, coordination, and execution of all ticketing operations across JioStar wide-ranging sports and entertainment projects. The individual will be responsible for managing internal systems, handling ticketing requests for both personal and business needs, and ensuring accurate and timely disbursement of tickets in alignment with organizational processes. This role demands high attention to detail, a solutions-oriented mindset, and the ability to work cross-functionally with both internal teams and external partners. The role reports directly to the Assistant Manager – Ticketing and offers the opportunity to be part of large-scale national and international events, representing some of the most prestigious brands in sports and entertainment.

The Ticketing Team at JioStar is a key support pillar for successful event execution. The team is entrusted with managing all ticket-related requirements for business and contractual obligations across the JioStar portfolio. This includes high-profile properties like the Indian Premier League (IPL), ICC and BCCI tournaments, Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), Indian Super League, Wimbledon, and more.
The team is the sole custodian of the GEM Ticketing Portal, an internal platform where employees can raise ticket requests for both personal and business use. Beyond internal facilitation, the team also collaborates with key external stakeholders such as the BCCI, ICC, BookMyShow, and Insider.in for seamless ticket procurement, coordination, and allocation.

Responsibilities go beyond just logistics—they include strategizing ticket distribution, collecting accurate utilization data, and reporting post-event insights to improve future efficiency. The role is both operational and strategic in nature.

Key Responsibilities

    • Ticketing Portal Management: Operate and maintain the internal GEM portal, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and timely closure of requests.
    • Request Review & Validation: Evaluate ticketing requests received from employees and various departments—ensuring alignment with policy, quota limits, and SOP guidelines.
    • Disbursement Planning & Execution: Coordinate ticket delivery either physically on-ground or remotely. This could involve travel to stadiums, coordinating with delivery partners, or managing distributions virtually.
    • Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with internal teams like Sales, Distribution, Talent & Partnerships, and Marketing, and external partners including rights holders, venue partners, and ticketing agencies.
    • Compliance & Reporting: Maintain up-to-date documentation of ticket allocation, usage, and returns. Ensure all SOPs are followed and generate post-event reports with insights on ticket utilization, stakeholder allocation, and cost tracking.

Preferred Education and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in commerce or a related field.
    • 1–2 years of experience familiarity with ticketing platforms like Bookmyshow or Insider will be beneficial.
