JOB SUMMARY:
As a Senior Product Manager, you will actively collaborate across with teams to shape a product strategy to maximize subscription renewals for JioHotstar. You will work on problems around pro-active churn mitigation as well as reactive measures. This role involves working with business, tech, analytics stakeholders internally and senior leaders globally. Ability to collaborate with stakeholders & functions and be able to define & drive a clear impact led product roadmap with minimal supervision will be critical success criteria for this role.

Our work spans powering JioHotstar’s subscription platforms, build scalable, multi-tenant systems for acquiring subscribers via D2C and wholesale channels, solving for churn related problem statements, pioneering payment-related innovations—such as local currency support, alternative payment methods, and seamless recurring billing, while also optimizing for subscription ARPU consistently.
The team drives sophisticated churn management strategies, leveraging advanced analytics, AI/ML tech and customer insights to anticipate at-risk members, personalize retention efforts, and continually enhance user satisfaction. By focusing on global subscription management, payment innovation, and proactive churn reduction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Owning and defining product roadmap around subscription renewals related problems
- Translating abstract problem statements into clear requirements by assessing market trends and shifts
- Identifying user insights and ship product features to add user delightAnalysing funnels, drawing insights & testing hypotheses
- Collecting and analyzing feedback from customers, stakeholders and other teams to shape requirements, features and products
- Managing all lifecycle stages for your products, with end-to-end responsibility for their success: timely releases, successful internal communication, users adoption, compliance
- Collaborating with engineering, peer PMs, designs teams etc. to ship quality features
- Defining, tracking & improving key metrics of the product in the markets to track their adoption and improve them
SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS:
- 5+ years of PM experience in consumer internet industry
- Bias for action, proactive & innovative by natureStrong attention to detail. Communicate clearly and effectively, with precise articulation and logical progression of ideas
- Apply structured frameworks and logical thinking to address complex problems, asking the right questions for deeper understanding
- Demonstrate a diverse range of ideas and prioritize effectively, focusing on the impact of decisions
- Execution: You can break down strategy into well prioritized quarterly roadmaps & demonstrate execution excellence
- Data backed decisions: You can ask the right questions & use data to make decisions
- Business Acumen: You enjoy building businesses & not just product features
- Technical Proficiency: You can participate with engineering teams to influence design & architecture
- Benchmark competitors and validate findings through experimentation, maintaining high standards for product roadmap inclusion

PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors/Masters degree or equivalent preferred. Overall 5+ years of experience in building scalable consumer products
- Prior experience in churn management or subscription related problems will be a bonus but not essential
