Job Summary: As a Software Development Engineer I, the incumbent will drive the advancement of our platform through the creation of robust, secure, and scalable code, utilizing state-of-the-art technologies. We seek a candidate with a strong sense of accountability, adaptability, and a commitment to adhere to the best practices in software development.
Key responsibilities:
- Engineer high-quality, scalable code, showcasing technical expertise and adherence to industry standards
- Break down complex problems into modular components, meeting ambitious deadlines with structured solutions
- Advocate for code readability and maintainability through meticulous attention to detail, promptly rectifying any identified edge cases
- Explore cutting-edge technologies and programming languages while sharing insights to propel team achievements
- Work with stakeholders to understand, translate the requirements and keep them updated about the progress and ensure the quality of the product delivered
- Collaborate seamlessly across teams, tackling complex challenges with an appetite for mentorship and growth
Skills and attributes for success:
- Experience in at least one modern object oriented programming language such as Java, Javascript, Python, Golang
- Knowledge in frameworks/tools
- Working knowledge of UNIX or Linux systems
- Good in coding & programming skills
- Strong data structures & algorithm skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting
Preferred education and experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, graduated in 2025, with prior internship experience in the tech domain.
