JOB SUMMARY:
As a Principal Group Product Manager, you will shape the product strategy and development to enhance customer engagement for the Onboarding & Discovery charter. You will establish a clear vision, create a roadmap for success, and nurture a high-performing product organization focused on innovation and customer satisfaction. The goal is to craft an intuitive, seamless, and enriching online journey that caters to diverse needs, from entertainment to payments, seamlessly integrating into daily life. This role involves overseeing a dynamic team of product managers and providing strategic direction to a cross-functional group of engineers, designers, data scientists, and specialists.

REPORTING TO: Senior Principal Group Product Manager
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop product strategy and roadmap focused on enhancing content discoverability and optimizing the consumption journey
- Create value through a clear vision, addressing product challenges holistically while fostering a vision and culture for team success
- Leverage extensive experience in guiding technical products to lead strategic roadmaps for JioHotstar's key components, ensuring meticulous attention to detail, clear communication, and effective problem-solving
- Develop frameworks and strategies to analyze the competitive landscape, identify data partnerships, and explore new opportunities. Drive data analytics, user research, and market insights to refine JioHotstar's consumer experience offerings, utilizing expertise in guiding technical products
- Innovate with a long-term vision, addressing product challenges from a business perspective, prioritizing effectively, and adjusting course as needed
- Demonstrate ownership, action bias, and collaboration, driving accountability, guiding team success, providing constructive feedback, and evolving organizational structures
SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS:
- Expertise in enhancing experiences across diverse platforms and regions, driving high consumer acquisition and retention rates, and amplifying global impact
- Expertise in personalisation systems, recommendations. ML is a plus
- Strong background in hiring, leading, and mentoring high-performing product management teams
- Excel at prioritizing quarterly roadmaps and executing with excellence
- Strategic thinker adept at navigating, influencing, and fostering collaboration with a results-driven mindset
- Exceptional relationship-building skills for driving impactful outcomes
- Proficient in data-driven decision-making, skilled at leveraging data effectively
- Passionate about building businesses, collaborating closely with engineering teams on design and architecture, recognized for a collaborative and engaging personality
PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- A Bachelor's or Master’s degree with at least 11+ years of Product Management experience in the consumer technology sector, including 3 years in a leadership role
