We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Programming Strategy & Insights Manager to support driving data-backed insights and performance reporting for Hindi Specials and Non-Fiction shows on our digital platform. The role requires strong analytical capabilities and the ability to translate complex datasets into meaningful business insights. The incumbent supports strategic decision-making by evaluating show performance, audience engagement, and content effectiveness through data-driven analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Owns end-to-end reporting for key shows such as Bigg Boss, including weekly dashboards, performance analysis, and leadership insights.
- Conducts comparative, cohort, and demographic analyses to uncover viewership trends and performance drivers.
- Manages ad-hoc analytical requests from content, marketing, revenue, and leadership teams with efficiency and accuracy.
- Builds and maintains structured data warehouses and dashboards across tools such as SQL, Mixpanel, Redash, and Amplitude.
- Tracks and reports key performance metrics, including viewers, watch time, engagement, and subscription trends.
- Provides concise and actionable insights to support business reviews and data-led decision-making.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure analytics outputs align with business and content objectives.
- Guides and mentors new team members on analytics tools, methodologies, and data processes to ensure knowledge continuity
Skills & Attributes for success
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in SQL and analytics platforms such as Mixpanel, Redash, Amplitude, or similar tools.
- Ability to interpret complex data sets and translate findings into clear business recommendations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong passion for media, content analytics, and data storytelling.
Preferred Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or performance reporting, preferably within the media, OTT, or digital entertainment industry.
