Responsibilities include:

    • Design and develop RF and Microwave transceiver circuits
    • Derive requirement specifications, perform cascade analysis of radio chains to help with vendor selection
    • Derive radio module specifications to ensure appropriate vendor selection and design products to meet regulatory requirements
    • Conduct measurements and analyze performance of wireless communication systems
    • Develop schematic and PCB designs for RF and digital applications
    • Participate in schematic and layout reviews
    • Develop functional tests and fixtures to support laboratory validation and quality assurance
    • Design and implement design verification tests
    • Work closely with SW engineers to optimize design and debug products
    • Experience with test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, shield chambers, multimeters and oscilloscopes
    • Device characterization, calibration and validation
    • Support debug and repair on an as-needed basis

Requirements:

    • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar
    • Use of CAD design tools for schematic entry and PCB layout
    • Ability to independently read and understand electrical schematics; hardware bring-up
    • Perform bench tests to validate components and prototype designs
    • Lab and hands-on debugging skills 
    • Testing embedded software and test automation
    • Team player, work independently with minimum supervision
    • Attention to details and follow-through
