Responsibilities (Included but not Limited to):

    • Connector/Adapter installation, jumper assembly, and cable replacement that meets accepted Passive Intermodulation and Return Loss standards.
    • Completion of Electrical, Mechanical, and Environmental tests using a variety of lab equipment.
    • Maintenance and calibration of Test Lab Equipment.
    • Assembly and testing of prototype devices in support of engineering projects.
    • Debug and diagnosis of customer returns and engineering products.

Equipment Used (Included but not Limited to):

    • Electrical – Gated Return Loss, Insertion Loss, and Passive intermodulation measuring devices.
    • AGILENT N5230A 50 OHM PNA-L Network Analyzer
    • Kaelus iBA 1921B Benchtop PIM Analyzer

    • Mechanical – Various mechanical measurement tools.
    • INSTRON 5967 Tensile Testing System
    • Various Torque Wrenches.

    • Environmental – Monitor and record results of long-term testing.
    • Various CSZ (Cincinnati Sub Zero) Thermal Chambers
    • SINGLETON Salt Fog Chamber
    • QUALLMARK OVTT Vibration Table
    • Q-SUN Xenon Weathering Chamber

    • Use Misc. lab equipment
    • Digital Multi-meters, Thermometers, etc.


    • Have an Associates in Applied Science or related technical training in Electronic Technology or Telecommunications.
    • 3 years of experience in a Laboratory/Test Environment - preferred but not required
    • Have working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
    • Must possess a high attention for detail and quality of work.
    • Must be motivated to take initiative and resolve problems.
