The position:
We are looking for a dedicated Recruitment Coordinator to join our team in Rochdale.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday // 08:30-17:00
Salary: £12.81 p/h
Contract Type: Temporary (2 months)
Location: OL16 4FW
Role of a Recruitment Coordinator:
- Coordinate and deliver large group interviews and assessment sessions for warehouse roles (e.g. pickers and packers)
- Complete right to work checks and document verification with absolute attention to detail and in line with legal requirements
- Ensure all pre-employment checks and paperwork are completed and compliant before start dates
- Schedule and organise start dates for successful candidates, liaising with warehouse and operational teams
- Maintain accurate records and candidate data using internal systems and spreadsheets
- Work as part of a close-knit recruitment and HR team, supporting each other during busy periods
- Communicate clearly and confidently with candidates, hiring managers, and colleagues
- Provide an excellent candidate experience, from initial contact through to onboarding
- Follow up with new starters to ensure smooth onboarding and flag any issues
- Track recruitment metrics such as attendance at interviews, success rates, and onboarding status
- Assist in the creation of job adverts, scheduling interviews, and general administrative support as needed
As a Recruitment Coordinator, you will need to have:
- Previous experience in recruitment coordination, HR administration, or a similar role
- Confident leading and presenting to large groups of candidates
- Strong understanding of right to work and document compliance processes
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Able to manage high volumes of candidates and changing priorities
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and general IT systems
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills – written and verbal
- Team player with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Professional, approachable, and positive attitude
£12.81 - £12.81 an hour
