This role is within our Governance & Corporate Stewardship (GCS) team that supports our clients to understand stakeholder governance, sustainability, and corporate responsibility priorities and develop effective sustainable business strategies. We work closely with company executives and boards of directors to identify and address their critical risks and opportunities and develop strategic communications in support of their GCS programs and performance.

Primary responsibilities include:
• Drafting and editing materials including GCS performance and strategy memos, company sustainability reports, proxy filings, presentations, infographics, Q&As and other materials
• Conducting benchmarking research on clients and peers
• Identifying shareholder priorities and supporting engagement strategies
• Interacting with clients to understand their goals and to present materials
• Assisting with logistics for ongoing client work
Candidates should possess the following:
• 2-3 years of experience, ideally within an investor stewardship or sustainability team with a data and performance analysis and/or communications focus; climate-related experience is a plus
• Proficiency with office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Intellectual curiosity with an interest in Wall Street, the financial markets and the media
• Top-notch critical thinking and writing skills
• The ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks effectively and under time pressure
• Exceptional attention to detail
