📅 Recruiting Coordinator

San Francisco, CA /

Full-time employee
Clubhouse is a new type of social product based on voice. It allows people everywhere to talk, tell stories, develop ideas, deepen friendships, and meet interesting new people around the world.

Our early users love the product and we have been featured in publications like The New York Times, Forbes, The Telegraph, TechCrunch, The Information, CNBC, and WIRED — as well as a huge range of thoughtful blog posts. Today, we are a small and productive team with a strong background in consumer products. We are well funded, with recent backing from top-tier VCs and many of the best angel investors in Silicon Valley.

As we look towards a broader release of Clubhouse, we are seeking to add a few extraordinary people to our growing team. If you think you would be a good fit, please let us know! 🙏

The Role

We're looking for an experienced recruiting coordinator who will help ensure that we create delightful candidate experiences, while helping the team continue driving interview processes forward! You'll work closely with hiring managers, interviewers, and our lead recruiter as we continue building out the team and build our early processes at Clubhouse.

In this role, you will report to our Recruiting Lead and will work closely across all teams. We are fully remote during the pandemic and this position will be based in San Francisco when we are able to safely re-open our office.

Who you are

You have incredible attention to detail and are highly organized. You love to ensure every detail has been triple checked and that every interview experience goes as smoothly as possible. Your attention to detail will help candidates feel prepared, welcomed, and excited by their experience interacting with Clubhouse. You know how to balance and prioritize your workday to handle the requests coming in.

You’re a strong and empathetic communicator. You’ll be the first point of contact for many of our candidates and you’ll help champion Clubhouse’s culture throughout the interview process. Our recruiting lead and hiring managers will lean on you to navigate everything from sensitive communication to ensuring candidates are well-prepared for their interviews.

You’re self-driven, scrappy, and are a problem-solver who can think on their feet. From troubleshooting Zoom troubles and rescheduling an interview at last minute’s notice to building processes from scratch, you’re someone who is excited about problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. You enjoy new challenges, are comfortable not knowing the answer to something, and excited to find solutions.

What you will do

On day one, you’ll be one of the primary points of contact for candidates, hiring managers, and our recruiting lead. You’ll support all functions through scheduling support, troubleshooting and process improvement. You’ll build and foster strong relationships to ensure that we’re building an incredible experience for candidates, while swiftly coordinating a large volume of complex scheduling requests. This will be an opportunity to be hands-on throughout the interview process from reviewing incoming resumes to ensuring that we’re always defining a clear next step after an interview, assessment or debrief!

You'll have the opportunity to own much of our operations when it comes to the candidate process. You’ll help ensure our systems stay up to date with the latest feedback and details. The team will look to you to ensure that we can lean on our ATS as our source of truth for upcoming interviews, interviewer feedback, and our interview process. This will be an incredible opportunity to be involved in building many of our recruiting processes and operations.

Outside of coordination, you’ll help shape the candidate experience and recruiting culture. As a critical voice on our recruiting team, you will help translate our culture into our recruiting process and help our candidates feel welcome from start to finish. We believe in hiring amazing people and giving them as much responsibility as they can handle. Whether you’re working with a candidate to troubleshoot an IT issue or proposing a process change to delight candidates, we will trust your judgment, give you autonomy, and always have your back.
As an early team member at Clubhouse you will be a critical voice and have significant influence over the direction of the company. We will compensate you well, invest deeply in your development, and ensure this is the single best work experience of your life. If you think you might be a good fit for our team, we’d love to hear from you!
