As a Data Analyst, you will work closely with our Operations and Creator Success teams to build timely analysis and reporting that drive decision-making. You will act as a thought partner across numerous projects and help teams uncover and leverage impactful data insights.
In this role, you will report to our Head of Data Science. We are fully remote during the pandemic and this position will be based in San Francisco when we are able to safely re-open our office.
Who you are
You are curious, inquisitive, and enjoy solving ambiguous, open-ended problems. You are able to identify high impact problem areas with little direction. You have a healthy skepticism about data and know when to dig deeper into a problem.
You have the analytic skills to work independently. You are highly fluent in SQL and have experience leveraging powerful reporting tools at scale. You are able to distill large data sets into key insights.
You are a strong communicator and are able to explain complex concepts to a wide audience. You are adept at crafting powerful dashboards that allow cross functional partners to explore data independently.
You are meticulous and forthright. You are experienced with finding clear answers despite messy data sets, and are able to catch data issues as they arise.
You have experience as a data analyst at a fast growing company and have a proven record of impact.
What you will do
In this role, you will work with cross functional partners in the Operations and Creator Success teams to surface and leverage key insights from Clubhouse’s unique data set. You will define, implement, and visualize key metrics and build a reporting layer that brings data to the forefront of all decision making processes. You will perform deep-dive analysis on complex problems and level up the team’s understanding of our network with your insights.
Your work will vary over time and will cover a variety of areas. On a given day, you may be setting up reports in anticipation of a new creator initiative, analyzing trends in support tickets, or finding ways to identify rising creators.
