Drop is looking for a Director of Product Marketing and Lifecycle to join our team. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, we are seeking a leader who will bring a disciplined approach to developing and executing compelling marketing strategies to support retention, adoption and awareness for Drop’s Marketing Team.  

As a Director of Product Marketing and Lifecycle you will deeply understand and empathize with our customers. You will be an expert in loyalty, e-commerce to shape our product value,  and build go-to-market strategies and customer lifecycle journeys to drive awareness, understanding, and growth of new and existing Drop features and brands.

What you'll do:

    • Lead product go-to-market and adoption strategies for Drop features and products. Your strategies may include the following:
    • Customer and market insights, giving the teams a clear picture of our target customer, their buying journey, and how Drop is differentiated
    • Clear product positioning including features and benefits and a compelling content strategy to help land positioning
    • Creative marketing and sales tactics that bring the product to market across the customer lifecycle/journey

    • Partner with teams across Drop to execute go-to-market strategies, and understand performance against our product marketing objectives. This includes:
    • Identify and define success metrics and KPIs for the product marketing function that are aligned with organizational and industry engagement goals
    • Lead the development of longer term marketing strategies and plans, including segmentation strategies identifying key user groups and development of targeted benefit messaging
    • Be the voice of the customer and a product storyteller.
    • Effectively and clearly convey your message internally across Drop, and externally to customers, partners, and to the industry.
    • Lead, coach, and mentor a high performing product marketing team, as well as a partner marketing team, and B2B Sr Manager during VP of Marketing mat-leave 

Key Deliverables for the role:

    • Work in partnership with the data, product, engineering, design, business development teams to develop integrated marketing briefs that guide creative direction and meet go-to-market objectives
    • Conceptualize and execute on multi-channel campaigns across the prospect and customer lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging across all channels
    • Lead the execution of launch and product engagement campaigns from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration
    • Develop segment our users and create end to end funnels of comms to onboard, drive adoption, and retain our members
    • Develop content to support the marketing and sales team, including sales sheets, presentations, training documents, product videos
    • Understand product performance through Dashboard creation in collaboration with Product Managers and Data Analysts

What you’ll bring to the table:

    • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in Marketing, minimum 2 years experience in a product marketing/lifecycle at a e-commerce, or B2C company or fast-growing tech company with proven examples of success
    • Positive team player with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple, simultaneous priority projects in a fast-paced environment
    • Experience designing go-to-market strategies for product launches, and working with customer insights, product managers, engineers, and design teams.
    • Collaborative approach with highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with stakeholders of all levels in a professional and efficient manner
    • Experience using data visualization tools (ie. Looker, Tableau)
    • Strong oral, written and presentation skills with exceptional attention to detail
    • Team engagement, leadership, problem-solving skills

Bonus Points If:

    • You have familiarity with SQL 
    • You are a subject matter expertise or experience in the loyalty, fintech, or e-commerce
    • You have previous Leadership skills leading high performing direct reports
