The Role

As a member of the growing creative team at Drop, you will collaborate with your marketing and creative team members to create inspiring content across various channels for both B2C and B2B audiences. 

You will spend your day writing persuasive content that achieves the objectives laid out in project briefs. Your eye for grammar and spelling will help you produce quality content, and you may sometimes help out your team by proofreading or editing other writing to help perfect it.

What Kind of Challenges Will this person be working on?

    • Translate creative direction and briefs into engaging short and long-form copy and content using an active and persuasive voice;
    • Maintain a high standard of copy and content writing by incorporating constructive feedback;
    • Proofread and edit copy and content while exercising a high level of quality control;
    • Develop clear, attractive, on-brand copy and content with a distinct voice to meet project requirements;
    • Participate in strategic brainstorming sessions on briefs and campaign development & execution by proposing copy and content direction, concepts, ideas, etc.
    • You are a creative and out-of-the-box thinker who strives to achieve results and meet tight deadlines.
    • You are an independent worker who is also is seen as a collaborator and team player.
    • Bring with you a diverse portfolio of both long-form and short-form writing from within an agency or marketing environment.
    • Demonstrate your diverse range of writing skills, knowledge of SEO principles, and content marketing through your experience across various channels and platforms.

What does this candidate bring to the table?

    • 1 to 2 years of experience as a copy or content writer
    • Degree, diploma, or certification in an advertising copywriting program, English, communications, journalism or related field
    • Knowledge of marketing, advertising and both, B2C & B2B sales principles.
    • Ability to work under pressure and take on volume, while maintaining quality.
    • Detail-oriented, well-organized, solid time management skills and self-motivated.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • You are a creative and out-of-the-box thinker who strives to achieve results and meet tight deadlines.
    • You are an independent worker who is also is seen as a collaborator and team player.
    • You bring with you a diverse portfolio of both long-form and short-form writing from within an agency or marketing environment
